I had a look around for an instant messaging client for coders, but couldn't find one.

Features I want for starters are:

• Cross platform
• Allowing pasting of large amounts of code (<=100 lines, at least)
• Code highlighting for c#, VB.NET, Ruby, Javascript, HTML etc etc
• Pasting of screen shots
• Public channels (like IRC) on particular topics, where people can collaborate
• All public discussions centrally stored and searchable

Anyone know of such a thing?
