I had a look around for an instant messaging client for coders, but couldn’t find one.
Features I want for starters are:
- Cross platform
- Allowing pasting of large amounts of code (<=100 lines, at least)
- Code highlighting for c#, VB.NET, Ruby, Javascript, HTML etc etc
- Pasting of screen shots
- Public channels (like IRC) on particular topics, where people can collaborate
- All public discussions centrally stored and searchable
Anyone know of such a thing?
